Measurement Technician I

Job Summary
Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain all gas measurement and quality equipment, including dry flow recorders, gas chromatographs, and composite samplers. Perform timely analytics, sampling, and witnessing of custody transfer meters while ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency. Support Environmental, Health and Safety processes by adhering to EPA, DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory protocols. Prepare accurate work reports and records. Requires 1+ years of experience in measurement and instrumentation, familiarity with industry regulations, and ability to work independently under close supervision. Occasional travel to remote sites and rigorous physical demands may apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in measurement, instrumentation, and electrical within the industry
- Familiarity with EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API, and GPA regulations and procedures
- Must be a self-starter
- Basic measurement knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures accurately and completely
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently under close supervision and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and methods
- Occasional travel to remote sites
