Measurement Technician, Eagle Ford

Job Summary

Test, prove, and troubleshoot various meters while managing assigned workloads and self-managing inventory needs using Conoco systems. Assist the Measurement Specialist with testing modern technologies, designing new facilities, and coordinating all meter testing via TestIT. Support field operations, audits, and system improvements while developing or revising measurement-related SOPs. Work in field and facility environments, including temperature extremes, heights up to 24 feet, and confined spaces, adhering to strict safety protocols. Requires a valid driver's license, basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with liquid and gas measurement software such as Prolink and Flowgate. Candidates must reside or relocate within 40 miles of Kenedy, TX, and be willing to work weekends, be on call, and travel 10% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Current/valid driver's license
  • 1 or more years of experience working with various Oil or Gas Measurement systems
  • Basic level of proficiency in Teams, Microsoft office software (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Basic Knowledge of liquid and gas measurement software's (i.e., Prolink, Rosemount Radar, Flowgate.)
  • Currently reside or willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Work in several different geographic locations every single day
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Wear appropriate special safety equipment
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks
  • Willing and able to perform/align (with or without reasonable accommodation) with following: Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull, use hand tools to make minor repairs
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to work weekends and be on call
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Coriolis Meters -Liquid measurement
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Turbine Meters – Liquid measurement
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: S&W Monitors – Liquid measurement
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Orifice Meters – Gas measurement
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Ultrasonic Meters – Gas measurement
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Analyzers – (i.e., O2, H2S, dewpoint, GC)
  • Experience testing, proving, or witnessing with some of the following meter, analyzer, and sampler types: Samplers – Gas & Liquid
  • End devices (i.e., GWR's, PIT, TIT)
  • Basic Knowledge of LACT units and operation
  • Experience with TestIT, ProveIT, and SAP-PM
