Job Summary
Collaborate with the Council on Aging Director and Housing Authority personnel to assign and direct volunteer staff and home-delivered meal drivers while promoting a congenial meal site environment. Deliver meals on occasion as necessary and ensure all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met. Provide accurate and timely reports and receive and account for donations according to OCES procedure. Manage food service operations at assigned meal sites for the Meals on Wheels Program serving older adults and individuals with disabilities. Requires reliable transportation and a high school diploma, with business and food service experience preferable.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Monday through Friday mornings
- 22-25 hours per week
- Ability to work with an enthusiastic team of like-minded individuals
