Job Summary
Deliver nutritious meals and perform daily wellness checks to vulnerable older adults facing hunger and isolation. Drive routes across Newton, Framingham, and Natick while making personal connections with seniors in need of a friendly face. Maintain safe driving standards, lift up to 25lbs, and utilize technology such as iPads or iPhones for data entry and communication. This part-time role requires a reliable vehicle and current driver's license, with shifts running Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Springwell, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities for over 40 years.
Required Qualifications
- A reliable car
- current driver's license
- safe driving record
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must enjoy working with older adults
- Must be available Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Must be available for routes in Newton, Framingham, and Natick
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience with technology (i.e. iPad, iPhone)
- Some experience with older adults
- Knowledge of geographic area
- Comfortable and/or working knowledge of computer applications (e-mail, data entry)
