Meals on Wheels Driver

Deliver meals to clients on in-town and out-of-town routes for part-time hours (approximately 15 hours per week), Monday–Friday from 9am–12pm. Responsibilities include handling delivery vehicles, picking up route sheets and carriers at Decatur Memorial Hospital, delivering meals per route instructions, listening to clients, reporting issues to the MOW Coordinator, assisting clients with opening containers, obtaining client sign-off on the monthly calendar, returning vehicle and materials, and performing routine vehicle maintenance. Must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be able to perform physical requirements; initiative, maturity, flexibility, and the ability to follow instructions are required. Employed by Catholic Charities and work within the Central Illinois service area with multiple office locations noted in Decatur and surrounding communities.
