MEAL Coordinator

Job Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and review of the programme MEAL framework across all countries. Conduct regular field visits (minimum two visits per country annually). Support digital monitoring systems and data collection tools. Provide technical guidance and capacity building to Country Office MEAL staff and programme teams. Facilitate programme learning processes and knowledge sharing. Coordinate with partner organizations’ MEAL teams. Lead external evaluations and ensure findings inform programme improvements. Support the programme research agenda with academic and institutional partners.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in social sciences, statistics, public health, international development, or a related field. Exceptional Bachelor’s degree holders will be considered.
- Formal MEAL/M&E training or specialization required.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive MEAL experience in humanitarian or development settings.
- Experience in Health, Nutrition, or WASH programmes required; supply chain experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience leading the full MEAL cycle, including MEAL plans, data collection systems, reporting tools, learning frameworks, and data quality oversight.
