Job Summary
Mid-level Software Tester responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, accessibility, and reliability of enterprise web applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. Works with developers, business analysts, product owners, and fellow testers to validate requirements, identify defects, and support successful software releases. Performs functional, integration, regression, accessibility, automation, and user acceptance testing; contributes to Selenium-based automation with Java/JUnit; collaborates with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment; conducts Section 508 accessibility testing and supports DoD-related compliance and security considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Public Trust clearance or higher
- At least five years of software quality assurance and testing experience
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Selenium WebDriver automated test scripts
- Proficiency in Java and JUnit
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts from business requirements and user stories
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking and test management
- Experience testing web applications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
