Job Summary
Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters; develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods; defines equipment maintenance requirements and identifies root-causes of equipment failures; collaborates with engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to design of equipment and products; may develop corrective and preventive action plans and participate in PFMEA/control plan updates; writes work instructions and documents; analyzes equipment/workspace layout for efficiency; coordinates with production to ensure efficient production methods and respond to customer requests; applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements; typically requires a Bachelor degree and ~3 years of related experience; participates with management on production capabilities, schedules, and decisions; demonstrates advanced skills and ability to train others; role involves exposure to electrical shock risk and moving parts; physical demands include occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; location: Malaysia, Johor (IN_PERSON) and remote work not indicated.
