Job Summary
Conduct and coordinate the development, completion, and transmission of resident assessments in accordance with state requirements and facility policies. Ensure accurate and timely MDS submission while monitoring resident status changes that require updates. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather data for care planning and maintain data integrity. Support compliance with regulatory requirements governing MDS and Medicare participation. Requires 1-3 years of MDS experience, an accredited nursing degree, and a current unencumbered RN license. Salary range $114,404.40 - $124,804.80 per year.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of MDS experience
- Nursing degree from an accredited college
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state
- Knowledge of clinical standards of practice, regulations, and reimbursement governing long-term care and Medicare participation
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing care to multiple residents
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing environment
- Experience with PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model)
