MDS Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

Assume authority and responsibility for coordinating the MDS, CAAS, and care planning process for residents upon admission; complete monthly reviews for Medicare/Managed Care therapies; observe and report changes in residents' condition; manage ARD scheduling; ensure nursing documentation reflects the care plan; conduct assessments with residents and families; consult with physicians as needed; participate in Quality Improvement/QA programs and surveys; support resident dignity and well-being; mentor MDS nurses and provide training on MDS documentation and electronic health records; prepare information for forecasting revenue and participate in care plan conferences via telephone and written correspondence; respond to crises and assist with administrative duties as needed.
