MDS Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

MDS Nurse (PRN) coordinates MDS, CAAS, and care planning for residents upon admission; conducts and documents assessments, establishes ARDs within regulatory guidelines, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure highest possible resident functioning. Responsibilities include triage and documentation throughout the month, updating the 672/802 as needed, coordinating care plans, communicating changes in resident condition, mentoring MDS nurses, supporting quality improvement and regulatory surveys, and performing administrative duties related to MDS and electronic health records. Strong communication, proactive assessment, and adherence to state/federal regulations are essential.
