Job Summary
MDS Nurse (RN/LPN) PRN to organize, complete and evaluate resident assessments and care plans in accordance with state/federal guidelines; coordinate the MDS, CAAS and care planning process for each resident; perform Medicare/Managed care/therapy reviews; document and monitor assessments, ARDs, and care plans; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and physician; participate in Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance activities and facility inspections; mentor MDS staff and support documentation for EHRs; respond to crises and perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current unrestricted license as an LPN or RN in practicing state
- 2+ years of MDS experience
