Job Summary
The MDS Nurse is responsible for coordinating, conducting, and completing the MDS assessments and resident care plans on a computerized system while ensuring compliance with HCFA, Medicare, and state regulations. This role involves participating in family and resident care plan conferences, maintaining accurate medical records, and effectively communicating with other departments. The nurse will oversee resident assessments, respond to condition changes, and facilitate restorative programs in line with physician recommendations while also managing infection control tracking and trends.
Required Qualifications
- LPN or RN required
- CPR Required
- Minimum 2 years experience in a MDS role or similar position
