Job Summary
MDS Nurse (LPN) responsible for completing and submitting accurate and timely MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual Regulations and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards; provide education to direct care associates regarding updates or changes to CMS RAI Manual or Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations that impact documentation; review Final Validation Reports and ensure all assessments are accepted into CMS QIES; participate in PPS Monthly meetings and other scheduled reviews; perform functions of a staff nurse as required; maintain confidentiality and adhere to Life Care’s Code of Conduct; assist in patient evacuation and demonstrate dependable attendance; communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Attended an accredited LPN program
- Currently licensed/registered as LPN/LVN
- Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
- Two years nursing experience
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
