MDS Director - Full-Time

Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensure accurate, timely completion of resident assessments in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and other payer requirements. Collaborate with nursing leadership, therapy, and administration to ensure assessments reflect residents’ clinical conditions while supporting regulatory compliance and reimbursement accuracy. Chair the interdisciplinary care planning team; oversee MDS completion and submission; validate documentation supporting PDPM coding and reimbursement; monitor Medicare/Medicaid billing accuracy; provide staff education on documentation best practices; stay current with CMS and regulatory updates.
