Job Summary
Coordinate RAI/PPS assessments and schedule new admissions and PPS evaluations. Complete minimum data set (MDS) and Care Area Assessment (CAAS) forms within required timeframes, utilizing direct interviews, observations, and chart audits to gather clinical information. Consult with Interdisciplinary Team members for status changes and OMRA assessments, while ensuring nursing sections of MDS and resident care plans accurately reflect provided monitoring. Follow facility policies to update MDS schedules and conduct monthly floor audits of completed assessments. This role supports the broader mission of Gulf Coast Village Skilled Nursing in Cape Coral, FL, serving residents within a continuing care retirement community.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- Displays knowledge of RAI/PPS process
- Follows all infection prevention and control and OSHA requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with previous long-term care experience with working knowledge of the RAI process preferred
