Job Summary
MDS Coordinator responsible for overseeing resident assessments (admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, change-of-condition), ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate care planning. Role requires leveraging MDS software for data entry and reporting, leading interdisciplinary meetings (including Medicaid and care-plan sessions), updating care plans based on current assessments, and generating quality reports to leadership. Requires nursing licensure, geriatric nursing experience, strong documentation and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments in a healthcare setting. Required Qualifications
- Holds a current Nursing License in good standing
- Experience in geriatric nursing
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Understanding of nursing home regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
