Job Summary
Conduct timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy, Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. Manage Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission tracking while coordinating information systems operations and education for the clinical department under the direction of the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement. Requires current RN licensure and prior MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Must possess a thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process, OBRA regulations, and Minimum Data Set
- Knowledge of the care planning process required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Prior MDS experience highly preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement highly preferred
