Job Summary
MDS Coordinator role requiring RN licensure to oversee the MDS process for residents. Responsibilities include maintaining the MDS schedule, coordinating MDS completion across disciplines, reviewing data for accuracy, inputting data, ensuring state transmission approval, correcting and resubmitting as needed, completing CAAs per state guidelines, formulating and scheduling Resident Care Plans with the interdisciplinary team, communicating the RCP to staff, ensuring staff compliance, collaborating with in-house and ancillary departments to implement the RCP, and performing related duties as directed by the DON/Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license (RN) current and valid from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Experience with MDS-RAP and Care Planning functions
- Prefer experience with RUG-IV and MDS 3.0
