MDS Coordinator - RN

Job Summary
MDS Coordinator - RN needed to coordinate and submit MDS assessments in accordance with federal/state regulations, maintain accurate MDS data in the EHR, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans. Responsible for regulatory compliance, timely CMS submissions, resident and family education, and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring effective communication with billing for reimbursement. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and have substantial clinical nursing experience, including familiarity with MDS processes and long-term care operations.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2-3 years clinical nursing experience (1 year in long-term care or skilled nursing)
- Experience or knowledge in MDS coordination; MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes
