Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Programs, including maintaining financial policies and directing staff in managing Cost reports. Lead the resident assessment team to ensure timely and accurate submission of assessments while collaborating with the Administrator and Director of Nursing. Manage billing knowledge, diagnosis codes, and compliance with Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations including Care WATCH, Infection WATCH, and Risk WATCH. Maintain AANAC certification and proficiency in PPS, OBRA scheduling, and QAPI processes. Join a faith-based nonprofit facility serving the community since 1964 with a low patient-to-staff ratio and mission-driven care approach.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an MDS nurse
- AANAC certification
- willing to be certified within 6 months
- knowledge and trained in the following: Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Reimbursement
- knowledge and trained in the following: PPS and OBRA Scheduling
- knowledge and trained in the following: CAA and Care Planning Process
- knowledge and trained in the following: Billing knowledge (Diagnosis Codes, UBO4, etc.)
- knowledge and trained in the following: QAA and QAPI Process
- knowledge and trained in the following: Nursing Clinical Assessment
- knowledge and trained in the following: Point Click Care
- knowledge and trained in the following: Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations and Compliance: Care WATCH, Infection WATCH and Risk WATCH
