Job Summary
MDS Coordinator (RN) responsible for coordinating and assisting with the completion and submission of interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans in accordance with CMS RAI Manual Regulations. Requires active RN license, 2 years nursing experience (geriatric preferred), CPR certification, and strong knowledge of CMS regulations and QIES. On-site, part-time (20 hours/week) role in Spokane, WA, with duties including education to staff, review of final validation reports, attendance at PPS and related meetings, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate and/or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in good standing
- Two (2) years nursing experience (geriatric nursing preferred)
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation)
- Ability to make independent decisions and interpret CMS RAI Manual regulations
- Knowledge of post-acute care facility regulations and CMS QIES system
