Job Summary
Schedule, input, and validate Minimum Data Set (MDS) documents within mandated time frames using the MDI system. Collect MDS data, compare entries against original documents for accuracy, and file records in residents' charts. Retrieve validation reports, lock MDS after final checks, and notify coworkers of data delays or system issues. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient care information. Requires a current CA LVN license, MDS certification, and proficiency in MDS 3.0 reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered CA LVN license
- 1 year as MDS Coordinator in LTC setting
- MDS Certified
- Knowledge of PDPM
- Proficient in MDS 3.0 reimbursements
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
