Job Summary
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements. Verify compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations related to MDS documentation and submission. Supervise data entry, validation, and transmission processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness while identifying and resolving discrepancies. Prepare reports for leadership, provide feedback to clinical teams, and support facility surveys and audit responses. Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, and RAI/MDS regulations to drive quality improvement initiatives. This role requires an active RN license in PA, three years of long-term care experience, and prior MDS/RAI experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active RN License for the state of PA
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN, BSN, or LPN)
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting
- Prior MDS/RAI experience required
- Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems
