Job Summary
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements and established deadlines. Verify compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations related to MDS documentation and submission. Supervise data entry, validation, and transmission processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Identify and resolve data discrepancies, prepare reports for leadership, and provide feedback to clinical teams regarding documentation and care planning. Participate in facility surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews while maintaining ongoing compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements. Stay current on regulatory changes and support quality improvement initiatives. Requires an active RN license with three years of long-term care experience and prior MDS/RAI experience. Full-time opportunity available with a salary range of $35-$60 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN, BSN, or LPN)
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting
- Prior MDS/RAI experience
- Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems
