Job Summary
Coordinate Resident Assessments (MDS) including admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and change-of-condition assessments; ensure regulatory compliance with Federal and State guidelines; review MDS and care plan documentation for accuracy; maintain proficiency with MDS software for data entry and reporting; lead and coordinate interdisciplinary meetings (Medicaid, ITTM, care plans); update and revise care plans based on current assessments; generate and distribute Quality Indicators Reports to leadership; ensure timely transmission of MDS data per reporting standards; stay current with industry standards through professional development; oversee reporting of ancillary data for corporate billing; requires nursing licensure and experience in geriatric care; strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current Nursing License in good standing
- Experience in geriatric nursing
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Understanding of nursing home regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
