Job Summary
Director 1 Capture Management for Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) within Northrop Grumman Space Systems leads the strategic capture efforts for the MDO Division, managing large capture opportunities from customer engagement and strategy formulation to international capture, resource planning, and acquisition; coordinates with cross-functional teams, leverages CRM tools (Salesforce) in line with BAP, develops win themes and value propositions, analyzes market drivers, cultivates relationships with stakeholders, and travels up to 50% with an active TS/SCI clearance; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience in intelligence/defense or federal civilian sectors, with strong leadership and capture-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or another relevant discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Intelligence, Defense, or Federal Civilian sectors
- Proven track record in leading cross-disciplinary business development and capture teams
- Extensive experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy development, resource allocation, and customer engagement
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) alongside adherence to BAP process standards
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with prior experience in briefing executives and influencing decision makers
- Strong understanding of various contract and payment types (non-IDIQ, IDIQ – single or multiple awards, FFP, T&M, Cost Plus) as well as the FAR
- Ability to lead both local and geographically dispersed teams and manage rapid reaction processes for government responses
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application
