Job Summary
Deliver home-based, office-based, and community-based clinical services to adolescents and their families using the Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy model to address substance use and behavioral challenges. Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain confidential documentation while collaborating with the MDFT Director and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care. Engage caregivers, school personnel, and probation officers to support therapeutic goals, participate in required training and supervision, and ensure model fidelity. Requires a Master's degree, prior clinical experience with adolescents, and a valid NYS Driver's License for travel throughout Suffolk County. Flexible hybrid schedule includes evenings and possible weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Psychology, or Substance Use Counseling (such as CASAC with a clinical master's)
- Prior experience working with adolescents and families in a clinical setting
- Willingness successfully complete the MDFT model training and implement it with fidelity
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate program needs (work evenings, possible weekends if necessary)
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Willingness to travel throughout Suffolk County
