Job Summary
Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiothoracic surgical procedures within dedicated, set OR blocks. Manage an inpatient-focused workflow balanced by one day of outpatient clinic per week. Maintain an equitable 1:3 rotation for night, weekend, and holiday call. Teach and mentor the next generation of physicians through our integrated General Surgery residency training program. Join a premier 325-bed Level II Trauma Center serving a 22-county catchment area of over 700,000 lives.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program
- License to practice in the multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations
- Ability to obtain a license to practice in the multi-state region
- Ability to supervise advanced practice clinicians
- Ability to provide outreach service as part of the role
- Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff
