Job Summary
Maintain steam pressure, water levels, and combustion O2 levels while inspecting feed water controls and gauges. Operate auxiliary equipment for steam, electrical generation, and chilled water production, adjusting air compressors and monitoring chiller temperatures. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot repairs, and repackage valves on steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems. Measure, cut, and thread pipes while ensuring proper PPE and protocol compliance. This role requires a current Maryland Grade 1 Stationary Engineer License and Universal CFC License. Full-time, 24/7 coverage with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (MD-DLLR) Grade 1 License (1st Class Stationary Engineer)
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of independent operation as a first-class stationary engineer on similar-sized equipment
- Must have a current Universal CFC License
