Job Summary
Analyzes proposals and other documentation to prepare Poles project quotes for customers; prepares written responses to RFQ packets and develops sales orders for all new projects; creates accurate quotes and cost estimates; enters Sales Orders, verifies information (quantities, items, pricing, ship-to, tax, FOB); enters new Purchase Orders and ensures quote/PO alignment; creates items in MAS; maintains pricing accuracy; prepares Invoice Requests; completes Sales Orders and truck schedules; interprets engineering specifications; maintains customer relationships face-to-face and by phone; cross-trains and supports production scheduler and shipping coordinator; conducts monthly inventories; supports internal teams with information (sales, credit, accounting, production); participates in recurring customer meetings for quotes and order updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; two years quote and order entry experience; experience dealing with customers; ability to work with others; knowledge of order entry systems; ability to prepare quotes and process sales orders; familiarity with purchase orders and invoicing; basic understanding of pricing, ship-to, and tax considerations; willingness to interact with customers face-to-face and on the phone; on-site work for a full-time role.
