Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate skilled craftsmen performing duties involving the application of coating materials, operating sandblasting equipment, and inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and painting vehicles for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. Manage primering, painting, and sandblasting processes while ensuring compliance with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules. Requires four years of directly related work experience in a corrosion control facility environment and four years of direct supervisory experience. Candidates must hold a BS degree in engineering or equivalent training, possess mandatory computer skills, and complete the Ground Maintenance Officer Course. This role supports USMC Expeditionary Forces in Jacksonville, Florida, within KBR's Zero Harm culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Four years of directly related work experience in a corrosion control facility environment involving primering, painting and sandblasting processes and procedures
  • Four years of direct supervisory experience
  • BS degree in engineering or other related discipline
  • Complete the Ground Maintenace Officer Course or equivalent
  • Computer skills (operating systems)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Employee / Labor Relations Skills
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
