Job Summary
McKinney-Vento Liaison to support students and families eligible under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. The role emphasizes advocacy and collaboration between home, school, and community to identify, address, and reduce barriers to educational progress, confidentiality in all matters, data-driven documentation, and independent work in a fast-paced environment. Essential duties include coordinating with students, families, staff, and community partners; maintaining casework documentation; tracking and analyzing data; ensuring enrollment and equitable access for homeless students; coordinating eligible educational services such as tutoring and transportation; providing training on McKinney-Vento requirements to district staff; and disseminating information about rights and available services across district buildings. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in education, community development, or program management.

- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public administration, or a related field; or Four (4) years of experience in education, community development, or program management.
