Job Summary
The Vice-President, People & Culture at McGill University leads institution-wide people strategy, including talent, culture, labour relations, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, and workforce transformation. The role advocates for equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and Indigenous reconciliation, and partners with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the university’s strategic priorities, manage change, and enhance the faculty and staff experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic, resilient, and highly collaborative leader with extensive experience in organizational strategy, labour relations, leadership development, and change management, and is bilingual in English and French. The role also involves serving as the principal advisor to the President and executive team on human capital and representing the university externally on workforce and employer positioning. Location is Montreal, with on-site responsibilities, and consideration of Canadian immigration requirements.
