Job Summary
As MCC Duty Engineer, provide real-time technical support, troubleshoot fleet issues, and help manage aircraft status in a fast-paced, multicultural team. Core responsibilities include 24/7 fleet monitoring for safety and readiness, supervising remote maintenance operations and AOG situations to minimize downtime, coordinating with maintenance teams, OCC, and flight crews, analyzing and resolving technical faults to reduce delays, and supervising maintenance contractors while supporting complex non-routine tasks. Requires EASA Part 66 licensed aircraft engineering on Airbus A32X (CFM56), 5+ years in MCC/airline engineering/line maintenance, strong troubleshooting and communication skills in English and Spanish, proficiency with maintenance systems such as AMOS or AIMS, and willingness to work in a hybrid Barcelona office (3 days in office, up to 2 from home). Additional EASA certifications and a driver’s license are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Experience: 5+ years in MCC, Airline Engineering, or Line Maintenance
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Proficient with MS Office and maintenance systems such as AMOS or AIMS
- Availability to work 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends
- Driver's license (preferred)
- Additional EASA certifications are considered a plus
