Job Summary
Memory Care Resident Caregiver needed to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and engagement in Memory Care programs. Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, performing light housekeeping and laundry, maintaining infection control practices, responding to emergency calls, documenting changes in condition, and supporting residents’ personal and spiritual needs. Requires effective communication with residents, families, and team members; ability to make independent decisions; compassionate, warm demeanor; and a passion for senior care. Education includes High School Diploma or GED; CNA/PC Aide/HHA preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications encouraged. Shift options include day/evening (7a-3p, 3p-11p). 7a-3p and 3p-11p schedules; Moseley, VA location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant/ Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide preferred, but not required
- License / Certificate for Medication Assistance (if applicable) as needed per state regulations
- CPR certification / First Aid certification
- Experience with seniors in a Memory Care environment preferred
