Job Summary
Load and unload general freight trailers and local vehicles while ensuring accurate scanning and manifest integrity. Operate forklifts safely to handle palletised and general freight, adhering to strict load restraint and Dangerous Goods segregation protocols. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards while working within tight dispatch deadlines. This afternoon shift runs Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm in Keysborough. Candidates require a current forklift licence, with an MC licence and Dangerous Goods experience highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a transport or freight loading environment
- Current forklift licence
- Experience loading palletised and general freight
- Understanding of load distribution and freight damage prevention
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Dangerous Goods freight
- An MC licence
