Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day change-overs of containers at the MBT facility to maintain optimal productivity and ensure recycling and diversion targets are met. Store all skips, trailers, bins, and equipment safely and efficiently with easy access while reporting any safety or environmental issues to management and internal support staff. Operate under a rotating shift pattern from Monday to Saturday with occasional weekend work, including on-call availability for fire alarms. Hold an HGV Class 1 license (desirable), with Class 2, RORO, and forklift training preferred. Required Qualifications
- HGV class 1 license
- HGV class 2
- Training to use Roll-on Roll-off (RORO) vehicles
- Training to use forklift trucks (telehandler machines)
- Team player
- High levels of drive
- Flexibility
- Understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Good people skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good organisation/Planning skills
- Availability to be on call for fire alarms on a rota basis
