Job Summary
Conduct daily interviews, gather documentation, and process commercial and MBL loan applications while evaluating credit criteria and verifying income. Coordinate closings, manage refinances, and handle payoff requests, ensuring all loans are properly documented, approved, and disbursed in compliance with Credit Union policies. Assist Commercial Loan Officers with disbursements, process construction draws, and cross-sell services while maintaining professional relationships with members. Complete required reports, attend meetings, and stay informed on local economic conditions and regulatory changes as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Required loan training and certification
- Knowledge of Credit Union loan services, policies, and procedures
- Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation
- Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices
- Previous lending experience or experience with full-service financial institution
- Minimum two year related experience or finance degree equivalent
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and public relations skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Ability to operate related computer applications, and other business equipment including calculators, typewriter, printer, telephone, and notary stamp
- Good typing skills
