Job Summary
Manufacture or prep parts in accordance with Malibu Electronics standards while following all safety and quality guidelines to exceed customer standards. Read paperwork to ensure proper steps are followed and conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently. Work in a team setting or individually to complete tasks timely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment by complying with safety and 5s standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to occasionally lift 40 lbs
- Must be able to bend at waist frequently
- Must be able to squat frequently
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently
- Must be able to kneel on the ground frequently
- Must be able to reach above shoulder frequently
- Must wear safety glasses
- Must wear a hard hat
- Must wear cut gloves
- Must wear a dust mask
- Must wear safety goggles
