Job Summary
Lead governance of all Mayoral correspondence, ensuring intake, triage, tracking and completion are managed consistently and compliantly; coordinate responses for Executive Leadership Board and democratic processes; oversee continuous improvement of correspondence and casework systems including CRM integration; produce dashboards and management information to highlight performance, risks and operational pressures; maintain policies and templates with quality oversight to ensure audit integrity; manage politically sensitive correspondence in partnership with Portfolio Officers; contribute to system design and governance improvements; operate in a hybrid Sheffield-based role within a Mayor’s Office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing high-volume correspondence in political/governmental environment
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience coordinating inputs from internal teams
- Experience developing or improving systems and processes for governance/workflow management
- Understanding of CRM considerations and link to contact centre/complaints systems
- Discretion and professionalism within political/governance frameworks
