Job Summary
Own the agent harness and financial context graph that every engineering pod builds on, defining abstractions for context, verification, guardrails, and observability to enable audit-grade AI agents. Design the ingestion, normalization, and reconciliation pipelines that transform ERP, bank, and billing data into a canonical ledger model, while establishing durable execution layers for long-running workflows that safely write back to systems of record. Define and enforce verification standards and evals to ensure AI output is safe for customer financial books, then identify organizational bottlenecks to drive platform-layer improvements that multiply output across the entire team.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of agentic AI work
- research-oriented background
- 8 or more years software engineering
- distributed systems or platform depth
- Platform-layer experience
- multiplied output across engineering teams
- Early-stage startup experience
- pre-seed through Series B
- NYC in-person
- Startup hours, 6 days a week, 9am to 7pm or 8pm
Desired Qualifications
- Deep agentic AI experience with architectural ownership
- Research-oriented ML or NLP background applied to production
- Prior Staff or Principal IC at a high-growth startup
- Finance, ERP, audit, or compliance domain background
