Job Summary
Safely operate equipment to load, unload, transport, install, and remove access mats for industrial, pipeline, construction, and oil and gas projects. Perform pre-trip and daily equipment inspections, log deficiencies, and complete required documentation. Secure loads per provincial regulations and work with supervisors and drivers to complete work efficiently. Maintain clean work areas, participate in toolbox meetings, and assist with general labour duties as needed. Requires valid Class 5 Driver's Licence, ability to work rotational schedules and long hours, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in industrial, construction, forestry, or oilfield environments
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work long hours and rotational schedules
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and hazard recognition
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Experience installing access mats
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence
