Job Summary
Associate Attorney with 7-10 years of matrimonial/family law experience to join our Brooklyn-based Matrimonial Department. Prepare pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs; appear in courts across the tri-state area; manage a large caseload; direct cases through litigation; develop cost-effective litigation strategies; handle divorce, custody, and child support matters in Supreme Court and Family Court; possess JD, NY Bar admission, strong writing and communication skills, and collaborative, client-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- NY Bar admittance
- Experience 7-10 years in matrimonial/family law (preferred)
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, court staff, adversaries, and witnesses
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
