Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and implement Ohio Learning Standards for mathematics to meet the needs of all students in all classroom environments; develop innovative lesson plans and activities, use relevant technology to support instruction, and differentiate resources to meet individual student needs. Instruct, monitor, and assess student progress; establish clear objectives and provide timely feedback; maintain accurate records and collaborate on district School Improvement initiatives. Communicate with students and parents about progress, participate in district events, and comply with state and federal guidelines. The role requires a valid Ohio Integrated Mathematics Teaching License and adherence to Warren City School District policies; salary placement is contingent on degree and prior experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Ohio Middle Childhood (4-9), High School (7-12), Adolescence to Young Adult (7-12) Integrated Mathematics Teaching License
- Background check (BCI) per Ohio requirements
- Salary Placement on District schedule contingent upon degree and experience
