Job Summary
Mathematics Teacher for grades 6-9 in North Carolina responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instruction; differentiating instruction to meet all learners’ needs; planning and coordinating instruction; using technology and classroom tools; managing time and behavior; motivating students; consulting with parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to enhance learning; monitoring student performance; coordinating a Teacher Assistant if applicable; and aligning instruction to North Carolina standards while leveraging collaboration and professional practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an approved education program in subject area
- NC Teaching License or have qualifications to obtain a NC Teaching License
- Strong background in North Carolina Standard Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards
