Job Summary
Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. Maintain a positive learning environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ensure compliance with the NJ FIRST Act and maintain successful criminal history clearance. Utilize proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite, IEP software, and the Student Information System. This 10-month contract role supports the 2026-2027 school year at Franklin Middle School @ the Hamilton Street Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Teacher of Mathematics
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System
