Mathematics Middle School Instructional Effectiveness Specialist

Job Summary
Lead and develop academic coaches to strengthen instructional practices and improve student achievement across schools. Facilitate professional learning and coaching cycles, including classroom observations, modeling, feedback, goal setting, and follow-up support. Collaborate with district and school leaders to implement equitable school-improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making. Design and deliver professional development for coaches, teachers, and instructional leaders; conduct data discussions and PLCs; guide districts in high-yield instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, and culturally responsive teaching to ensure equitable access to rigorous learning. Conduct classroom walkthroughs with administrators to monitor instructional effectiveness, provide actionable feedback, and support continuous improvement. Maintain regular communication with district leadership to align instructional goals with district initiatives and standards-based practices. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all responsibilities. Conduct research on instructional strategies and coaching models to inform staff development and improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
- Professional teaching certification in Middle Grades (4-8) Mathematics and/or leadership
- TSC Coaching Endorsement preferred, with related training and experience preferred
- Minimum five years of successful teaching experience in middle school
- Experience serving as an instructional coach, academic coach, department chair, content specialist, or similar leadership role
