Job Summary
Teach and assess student learning outcomes in mathematics; develop and promote the mathematics curriculum designed for both transfer courses to four-year colleges/universities and applied degree programs; collaborate with colleagues on curriculum evaluation and improvement; facilitate students' learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities and recruitment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics or closely related field including 18 graduate hours in mathematics from an accredited college/university required
- Ability to teach transfer level and developmental mathematics courses
- Teaching experience at the college level in Mathematics preferred
- Familiarity with online courses
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college
