Job Summary
Design advanced mathematical problems for frontier AI training and evaluation; create deterministic problems with exactly one correct answer and submit complete, verified solutions; develop problems that test deep mathematical reasoning beyond memorization; write clear, complete solutions and reasoning; use Python or related tools to build computational workflows; ensure outputs are technically precise, reproducible, and well-written in English. Location is remote with 20 hours/week commitment on a contract, part-time basis, and compensation up to $40/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Strong Python skills; comfort with libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas
- Strong mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, or computational mathematics
- Ability to design original, difficult problems
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing in English
